Homeschool Science Class: Polar Regions

Service Description

Get rugged up and join us as we explore the polar regions of our planet! Discover what lives in the polar regions and how living things survive in such extreme environments. Compare the Arctic and Antarctic. Carry out an experiment to test which insulation works best to protect you from extreme cold. This is a live class so join us live online at 1pm AEDT to get the most out of the session. All classes will be recorded this term so if something comes up, you will be able to catch the session on replay for two weeks. One ticket per family/household so siblings can join together. Please check the time in your state as we will be in daylight time saving (AEDT). Optional resources: Paper and pens/pencils A large ice block or a sandwich bag of ice cubes Feathers (in 1 sandwich bag) Butter or lard (1 thick slice in a sandwich bag) 2 empty sandwich bags
