Homeschool Literacy Class: Poetry Fun

Service Description

Poetry can be FUN-yes, that’s right! This session is here to put the fun back into poetry. We will be looking at funny poems that are sure to make us laugh. Let’s unravel the devices used in these humorous poems and debate- does poetry need to rhyme? Help us to brainstorm ideas and collaborate with Tracy to write a funny poem using repetition and figurative language such as similes, onomatopoeia and alliteration. Join us live online at 1pm AEDT to get the most out of the session. All classes will be recorded this term so if something comes up, you will be able to catch the session on replay for two weeks. One ticket per family/household so siblings can join together. Please check the time in your state as some will be in daylight time saving (AEDT). Optional resources: Paper and pens/pencils
