Homeschool Class: Transport Systems Y7/8

Service Description

It’s time to investigate the transport systems of YOU! Take a close look into the circulatory and respiratory systems of the human body in this human biology session for Y7/8 scientists where we investigate how these systems work. Make a model to demonstrate how the heart pumps blood around the body. Find out how gas exchange works in your respiratory system. Join us live online to get the most out of the session. All classes will be recorded this term so if something comes up, you will be able to catch the session on replay for two weeks. One ticket per family/household so siblings can join together. Please check the time in your state as some states will be in daylight time saving (AEDT). Optional Resources: Paper and writing materials. Heart Model Activity (can also be done later as an optional activity): Three plastic bottles- make 1 hole in one lid and 2 holes in another lid before the session (a heated screwdriver or scissors usually works) Water Red food colouring Bendy straws (or straight paper straws and scissors) Sticky tape Playdough OR Blutack (small amount)
