Service Description

Let’s kick off our Senior Science (Y7/8) sessions with a focus on classification! How and why are living things classified in biology? Discover the five kingdoms and explore dichotomous keys. Help us to create a key to classify some interesting creatures. Bring your own items to sort and build a dichotomous key by identifying and sorting characteristics. Join us live online to get the most out of the session. All classes will be recorded this term so if something comes up, you will be able to catch the session on replay for two weeks. One ticket per family/household so siblings can join together. Please check the time in your state as some states will be in daylight time saving (AEDT). Optional resources: Paper and writing materials. A selection of items to sort e.g. assorted lollies OR fruits OR plants (anything that can be sorted really!).
